Is it ADHD?
Many adults don’t relate to the stereotypical picture of ADHD. ADHD can be difficult to recognize in adults—especially in people who have spent years compensating, masking their difficulties, or appearing highly capable.
Amy’s comprehensive adult ADHD assessment looks beyond checklists and outward achievement. Together, you explore your history, current functioning, coping strategies, and the ways ADHD may overlap with anxiety, trauma, mood, and burnout. This is not a diagnosis based on one questionnaire or a brief symptom checklist.
Who the assessment is for
The assessment is designed for adults 18 and older who are located in Ohio. It may be a fit if you suspect late-recognized, overlooked, or heavily masked ADHD; if you have spent years overfunctioning and pushing through; or if you are trying to sort out whether what you are experiencing is ADHD, anxiety, trauma, mood changes, hormonal shifts, burnout—or some combination.
What the assessment includes
Clinical & developmental interview
An in-depth conversation about current concerns, childhood, education, work, relationships, daily functioning, emotional health, and coping strategies.
ADHD-specific assessment
Structured interviews and validated measures examining attention, executive functioning, impulsivity, restlessness, emotional regulation, and impairment.
The complete picture
Careful consideration of anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, sleep, hormonal changes, and other possible explanations.
Clinical review & report
Measures are reviewed and scored, information is integrated, and a personalized written report is prepared.
Feedback session
You review findings together, answer questions, and discuss individualized recommendations and appropriate next steps.
What to expect
The assessment takes approximately 4–5 hours across multiple sessions, by secure telehealth for adults in Ohio. Measures are reviewed and scored, information is integrated, and a personalized written report is prepared. In the feedback session, you review the findings together, ask questions, and discuss individualized recommendations and appropriate next steps.
The goal is not to prove that you have ADHD or to talk you out of what you have experienced. It is to understand your experiences accurately and compassionately. A diagnosis is not guaranteed; whether or not findings support ADHD, you will receive an explanation of results and individualized recommendations.
Cost and how to start
The comprehensive adult ADHD assessment is $950. It includes interviews, validated measures, clinical interpretation, a written report, and feedback. If you are considering an evaluation, start with a free 15-minute ADHD evaluation consult—ask questions, talk about what you’re looking for, and see whether the assessment may be a fit.
